John Ghee is an American with a cause. When hundreds of thousands of National Guard and Reservists were suddenly called from their civilian jobs to fight after September 11, he recalled his own family's stress when he was similarly deployed to Vietnam. He created and built Operation Brave Kids into a regional 501c3 organization, raising and distributing over $350,000 in monthly financial gifts to mothers and children of hard-pressed civilian/soldiers. John and his wife, Dorothy have been graciously honored by these military families who have sacrificed so much.
